Along the Journey Weekly Roundup #14: Busy Week Edition

by Mike on May 11, 2010

Every Tuesday, I will post a link roundup of articles I’ve found while researching the Internet.

As I mentioned last week, I was rear-ended by a drunk driver. This week has been full of filing insurance claims, doctor’s appointments, a last minute trip of town, and preparing to move. Needless to say it’s been pretty busy around here! I’ve managed to write an article for One Money Design, but I failed to write much else. I do have to find and purchase another vehicle by Saturday (or at least that’s when my insurance will stop paying for the rental…but that’s another topic). This week maybe just as busy, but I do plan on getting some writing done. PROMISE

On with the roundup!

PT Money lists 8 Different Types of Insurance. Yes, I have insurance on the brain. Between my car insurance, GAP insurance, and medical insurance…I’ve talked to more insurance folks last week than I care to remember. But I digress…

It sucks to deal with insurance on anything, I hope it gets worked out for you, and good luck finding a new car. It can be stressful, but fun at the same time.

Yeah it does! I mean, you pay all this money so you have coverage when you need it, and then they want to give you the run around, point the finger and payout as little as possible. Don’t get me wrong…I’m grateful to have coverage…but could they make filing a claim any more difficult???

As far as car shopping…I’m in a better position than I was 5 years ago. I’ll keep you all posted on the whole deal.
