Hello fellow Journeymen and Women!
I know its been quiet around here so I wanted to get you up to speed on what’s been going on.
Last week I had the opportunity to teach at a retreat in “Fabulous Las Vegas”. It was an honor and a privilege to do so. Coming back to the Midwest, it took a couple days to get used to Central Standard time again.
I was also studying for the CompTIA Security+ exam. Security+ is a certification dealing with computer security topics such as cryptography and access control. I took the exam last Friday, and I’m happy to report that I passed! On a personal finance note, I can now apply for the test reimbursement – YIPPEE!
Also, I’ve already shared some of this news with the newsletter subscribers – but I moved into my new house this weekend! There is going to be an entire 5 part series dedicated to this later this month. I hope to have my high speed Internet up and running this week so I can get back into my regular posting routine.
Finally, this week is the launch of the 1st Biblical Finance Bloggers Giveaway. Several bloggers have linked up to offer cash and prizes. Details will be published later today!

I’m glad the Security+ test is behind me! It’s a job requirement so there was a “wee bit” of pressure.
