I try to stay on top of all those, now illegal, clauses to the point that I rarely use my credit cards anymore — which is good for me, but I can see where it has caused much trouble for others. Your article is very good, informative and humorous [whether or not you meant it to be]. Do you translate tax forms as well?? Keep writing! Blogs need more writers like you.

I’d imagine the industry would need some sort of grace period to put the new regulations into practice, though increasing rates was definitely an unwanted side effect!

I am very happy for the CARD Act, but I wish they would have mde it effective immediately. The credit card issuers wasted no time in raising everyone’s rates.
