Along the Journey Weekly Roundup #3 Pay Off Debt Edition

by PF Journey on February 16, 2010

Every Tuesday, I will post a link roundup of articles I’ve found while researching the Internet.  Last week a paid off another credit card!  Looking at the zero balance was incredibly satisfying.   I have 1 more card left in the snowball and my goal is to have that paid off by my birthday (April 23).  After that is paid off I will be done with credit card debt and can turn my attention towards paying off my car and student loans.

Here are some awesome articles I’ve stumbled across this week:

Congrats on paying off your credit card Lakita. After you pay off that last one on your birthday maybe I can convince you to close and shred all of them for good! :-)

I’m glad you enjoyed the article, Lakita! I saw your guest post at Bible Money Matters today. Let me know if you ever want to guest post at my site. I can’t offer the same kind of traffic Pete does, but your understanding of Scripture fits in well with the content on my site.

@Pete: It was my pleasure…and thank you for accepting the guest post

@Paul: Sure, I am always interested in guest posting opportunities…especially those where I can expound on the bible. Let’s connect via email

@Matt: Thx! If I can come up with a way to rent a car or book a hotel room without having them hold an EXTRA security deposit without a credit card then I may be open to ditching the card all together. I don’t like the idea of having money held up that is above the cost of the room or rental.
